By sponsoring an Orchestral Chair, you can choose to support any instrument that you especially enjoy hearing or which fascinates you.
In the large orchestra for the Poulenc and Beethoven May 2025 concert there are 42 players so there will be an ideal Orchestral Chair for you, whatever your choice of instrument – from piccolo to tuba!
The following Orchestral Chairs are available to sponsor:
- Bassoon
- Cello
- Clarinet
- Double Bass
- Flute
- French Horn
- Oboe
- Piccolo
- Timpani
- Trombone
- Trumpet
- Tuba
- Viola
- Violin
To sponsor an Orchestral Chair in full, a donation in the region of £175 is requested. Of course, smaller donations, from say £50, would also be much appreciated and, if you are a taxpayer, Gift Aid makes your donation even more valuable.
Unless you wish to remain anonymous, your donation will be acknowledged in the Society’s concert programme.
